Folding Frame Speed Trailer

Pole Mount Radar-Speed Signs show vehicle speed and warn motorists to slow down by flashing their excessive speed. They are often deployed in school zones, neighborhoods and accident-prone areas — locations where obeying the speed limit is critical. We offer two sizes of electronic LED speed displays for small and large roads. The signs can be either hard-wired to commercial power or battery-powered with an automatic solar-based charging system.

Features

  • Configurable speed settings and operating modes
  • Optical lenses and sun shades over high-output LED characters ensure outstanding visibility and legibility
  • Choose either 13-inch or 26-inch character size to suit the application
  • Display flashes vehicle’s speed if above the set speed limit
  • Display flashes user-selected “excessive speed” message if a vehicle exceeds 130% of the set speed limit
  • Approach-only K-band radar measures speeds from 5 to 138 mph (8 to 222 km/h), at a distance of up to 1000 feet (305 meters)
  • Configurable speed units, mph or km/h
  • Radar unit is CE compliant, FCC approved
  • Signs feature standard mounting for a 4 1/2-inch OD round pole
  • Commercial AC powered, or battery powered with solar-based charging system
  • Regulator shuts down solar charging system when batteries are fully charged, preventing damage
  • Weather-resistant steel box houses electronics and control panel, which includes LED status indicators
  • Standard aluminum enclosure houses batteries, and features a police-lock for security
